Back again

Well we are back in dear old London, an uneventful journey thank goodness and I ignored the SatNav this time and we carved masses off the journey time. All the holiday washing is done, dried and ironed.

Delivery

Damn, popped into Primark in Bournemouth and they've had a delivery. So I exit with a zero bank balance and a super tight pair of candy stripe trousers and a super tight off the shoulder red frock, oh and some bangles for the wrists.
Most excellent lunch in Debenhams, roast pork and all the trimmings. Well I'm on holiday so the diet can go hang until we get home tomorrow. Yes we extended our stay by a day, well it seemed a shame to waste nice weather by going home.

Duck!

Another visit to Cranford Cliffs today, the sun had most definitely got his hat firmly on and much sunbathing took place. Well one needs to get a tan started before we troll off to Palma. For the first time in many a year I actually got my little tootsies wet, ooo the last time must have been in Agadir about 15 years ago.
The visit of course just had to include another scrumptious lunch at The Cliff, a rather nice duck salad today. So now we are catching the last of the rays in the garden and why not.
Off back home tomorrow, let's hope the journey is a little more direct than the downward one.

Scrum-diddly-umptious

Off out today to Cranford Cliffs, sort of twixt Bournemouth and Poole. Uncrowded beach, eventual sunshine and a pleasant breeze. How lush it was to hike down the beach in bare feet, the sand tween your toes, not done that in many a year. We sit, we stroll down to Branksome Chine for coffee and a people watch. At last I find a soul mate. she sits there with her chips and rips off the corner of her tomato sauce sachet and delicately squeezes some on each chip as she hoovers them up.
After a stroll back and Madame has had her paddle we consider lunch. We past a rather pleasant establishment called The Cliff on our arrival and repair there. Mmmmm delicious, lovely squid starter plus I have to finish madame's mushrooms then salmon and dill fish cakes total yummyiness. Our idea is to return there tomorrow as the weather is set fair.

Sun,sea and......... Sand

So eventually we arrive in sunny Bourenmouth, unpack etc and off out. Bearing in mind we haven't been here for more than 30 minutes, we leap on a bus and the driver says to Madame and I..... Morning LADIES! Oh I love it. Totally in male mode and people think I'm female. Of course I never correct them and if they correct themselves I always say either I don't mind or that I'm flattered, that really throws them.
Thankfully for the bank balance or lack of, there was nothing that took my fancy in Primark, Debenhams however was a different story but I managed to resist thank goodness.
Why is it that when you are certain you know better you still blindly follow the instructions of a sat nav? There we were happily pootling along the North Circular when it tells us to turn right at Hangar Lane then after a bit to turn off before the M4 or the M25. Idiot of course does as she is told and winds up in horrendous traffic, stupid girl. Ah well alls well that ends well we got here, eventually.
Although I may regret it I'm sat sitting in the garden at almost 5pm collecting rays and the flesh is feeling decidedly warm in parts.

Preferences

So there we are in Fenwicks on Friday morning wandering, madame and I, as you do when I spot our friend. So of course I troll past her counter and she looks up with a slight look of recognition. So I say hello etc and I 'spose she did recognise me but didn't know whether she should say anything. Aaaaanway we had a chat and the upshot was she said she preferred me as Ann tee hee and then the silly girl said to me, which do you prefer? So of course I said, do you really have to ask that? Bwahahahahahahaha! When she said she preferred me as Ann I said oooo thank you I'll remember that and there was madame making derogatory signs with her hands behind my back, so I must be making a good job of it. LOL

Picture this

After a morning of picture taking we zoom off to Brent Cross to frighten the local yokels. Neither of us has any cash to flash so it's window shopping for us. Oh my we get some attention but in the main we are totally ignored. Yes ignored, silly people they don't know what they are missing. Both of us decide that its time to raise hemlines so there is plenty of leg on display :-)
People do not realise the delight they give us if they stand and stare, I always give them the full treatment. I stop and appear as though I'm looking around the shop and give them the full 360 degree view then flounce off. We have a lovely chat and a giggle with the ladies in the Phaze Eight concession in Fenwicks only to find the totally gorgeous LBD on display is not one of theirs but an Armarni at £400! I manage to find another of our friends downstairs and we have a little chat with her and her companions. Sadly I never manage to find her when I'm in male mode.
Once done I take Stephanie home and return for a couple of things I've forgotten which means I revisit dear old John Lewis, Fenwicks and M&S to stock up on their gorgeous dates, yum !
As you can see I take much better pictures than Stephanie does, both in front and behind the camera. LOL
