Disappointing fit

Well off out again with madame, Oxford Street of course. A quick dive into Primark, bra shopping again. Its so nice that we can both discuss clothes and lingerie and shop together. I get myself two new bra's but madame just cannot find one she likes aaaaanyway she manages to find something that takes her fancy while I go off to pay for my purchases then its off to Pret for brekkie and thence to M&S. For two shopaholics as we are it is slightly disappointing that they do not have the treggings I want in stock and we have to order them which means we have to pick them up the next day at Brent Cross. We trawl through the lingerie department but still madame cannot find the bra she wants so its off to Selfridges. We wander round the denim studio so madame can exchange a pair of Levi jeans and we see the most expensive jeans in existence, in a glass case. £12,000, yes twelve thousand pounds, for a pair of jeans, with over two carats of diamonds on them !
Next day we are off to pick up my treggings and we pop into Lipsy where madame treats herself to a pair of jeans an I just try, successfully, to convince myself that I cannot afford anything, although I do promise myself something in their post xmas sale.
Friday sees the chance of another photo session, well two frocks from the depths of the wardrobe have appeared and it would be rude not to wouldn't it. Unfortunately for me when trying on some of my latex frocks I find one is now verging on too big, just a little slack around the hips so that could be passed onto madame and I also find that madame's latex catsuit is too big too. This is highly disappointing, a little slack in the arms, especially around the wrists and also from the thighs down but perfect in the body although it does now fit madame perfectly.
Off out again today to visit Dolenta and Andy at the new Breathless shop which hopefully will involve plenty of cava and chocolate and out again tomorrow to the London Alternative Market to meet up with the delicious Penny and Natacha, Sara and Russsell and a chance to dress up!

The remains of the days

Saturday sees Stephanie and I out and about. Off we set to the British Museum and surprisingly enough we find loads we have never seen before ! Poor Stephanie is suffering with a pan in her lower back and the remains of flu/cold. We take lunch around the corner in Museum Street in Pizza Express where I am semi-good diet wise and elect for lasagne verde mind you it was not helped by vast amounts of parmesan cheese and the bechemel sauce !
Post lunch its off to Primark where nothing but nothing tickles our collective fancy so we hop a bus homeward up to Selfridges and dive into the denim studio of the third floor where Stephanie buys herself a pair of jeans then its home for dinner.
Sunday is another photo day, its corset time. Luckily everything goes to plan and fourteen corsets later I have almost exhausted what should fit. The 30 inch waist ones all shut and are a trifle on the slack side. They fit but not as tight as I like them, that is breathless tight and the 28 inch ones are not that good around the rib cage damn those ribs :-(

So today its off out again to Oxford St. A quick trawl of Primark and a discussion with madame, which bra should I buy myself? Yes I'm that lucky, I can not only buy my own clothes but I get advice too ! Luck remains on my side when post Pret breakfast we visit Elliot Rhodes shop to get madame's four belts shortened I find madames xmas present, a new buckle so that is that done !

Bargain

Email last night from M&S, a sale! A quick search and there it was the jacket I was seriously considering, not £45 but £23 ! Who cares the money is running out rather speedily, I have tops to go with it and frocks and trousers. Yes jeans and trousers. Ah well times move on you know. Silly clothes are all very well but the object is to pass, well perhaps not pass but not to draw too much attention to oneself, or is it? Is it really that it is not so important to pass but to have our attempts appreciated. To look like real women. I do emphasise the word attempt though. There is of course a time and a place for sillyness and I, like others do love a bit of sillyness. Short frocks and tottering heels have their place but not usually daytime and definitely not in Tesco's. Of course some women do and people look and point at them, therefore we girls shouldn't be surprised if we get that sort of attention.

How big?

Well what do you know? Off today up town again nice and early. Into Primark for a pair of basketball boots in black and white. Before we get to the shoe department madam sees some jeggings and gets me to buy myself a pair. Just to be on the safe side we get a pair in size 14 and with wishful thinking a pair of size 12. Now seeing as she got herself a pair too you would think we could do a twinses act but no this is still not allowed, no going out dressed with her in tow. Well not until our holiday anyway. So out of there and into M&S for a look see, coffee in Pret but no bacon butty allowed or cakie-bit, boo hoo. Aaaanyway then its Selfridges. Down to the basement where I spot this divine suitcase a snip at £428. Well not so much a snip more a chop off the bank account ! Off we go to the denim section again where madam gets yet another pair of jeans, size 14 already ! A stroll round womens fashions of course where I frighten myself to death when I find out the price of that white and black McQueen skirt, £1235 yes that's right £1235, the decimal point is not missing! Aaaaanyway we get home and lo and behold the size 12 baby pink jeggings..... fit, RAH!

A pair too far

Well a quick whizz up town today. Madame needed to return something to Primark so off we set nice and early. Goods returned and nothing that took my fancy we exit and at her suggestion we go into Selfridges, big mistake. Up to the third floor and the denim sees me exiting with a pair of pale blue super high waisted super skinny jeans in a 14. If only my thighs had been a smidgeon smaller I could have squeezed myself into a 12. I spot a gorgeous pair of black jeans with scuffed white patches and pleated knees, a bit like motorcycle leathers but at £290 a ridiculous price and as for the totally scrumptious faux fur Joseph coat that I would sell my soul for at just shy of £2000 we leave with our ten pound purchase. LOL
We cross over into M&S for some knickers for me, definitely a size 12 this time except they don't have the ones I want in a 12 so its off down Oxford St to the Pantheon branch where they do, rah. So all the jeans I have will now a greatly smoother view ;-)
