Another week another....

Another week goes by and another birthday... mine ! A new Phase Eight frock which to be honest I got to wear before my birthday at the last Magic Theatre, a new necklace, bangles, a new camera bag that doesn't scream camera bag and a new latex outfit !

So off we trot Saturday afternoon to Dolenta and Breathless to collect the new latex outfit. Madame, son and I (in male mode). As we arrive on the overground platform I espy the nutter who once he spots us follows us down the platform. I am unaware as I have my back to him until I hear his mumblings. It seems he objects to my appearance. We are not sure whether he has a 'problem' or is pissed or both. Aaaaanyway he is ignored and our train comes and on he gets and proceeds to sit with us continuing his disapproval for 15 minutes. We arrive at St Pancras and get off and so does he although he has no idea of where he is. Owing to his condition he has no chance of keeping up with us so we leave him to his ramblings although the son does make station staff aware of him in case there is further problems. Just as well I wasn't 'dressed' but then again I would not have gone that way if I had been.

We arrive at Dolenta's shop and I try on the outfit, perfect and we get on with the serious subject of gossiping. It is now about 6.30 so I say to madame that's it is a bit late to go home and cook so why don't we eat out. Mmmm unbeknown to me there is a plan afoot. Beans spilt we shut the shop and are off to a Tapas place just off the Pentonville road Camino and very nice it was, even including the mass rendition of happy birthday.

Day 0

All ready for the off, just a walk to the station except it decides it is going to rain and I mean rain. A quick dash to the bus stop and as we get off it throws it down. Luckily there is a shelter on the platform. Change trains at St Pancras and we are Gatwick bound. We arrive ages early but then that is us. We are checked in and await the arrival of travelling companions. Soon we are up in the sky and on our merry way waving goodbye to the white cliffs of Dover..........

... and its time for some cloud porn......

Now far be it from me to complain but........... EasyJet or in fact any company if you provide a service please, please, please don't set it up and then change its name, it confuses people. We have speedy boarding so when we go to check in and it says speedy boarding on our boarding pass therefore don't change the name at the airport to EasyJet Plus, tsk, tsk, tsk.
We arrive at Palma airport on time and its hot, well in comparison to Gatwick it is. We grab a cab with what appears to be an Formula One trainee and are soon checking at the hotel Saratoga.

Up and down

Well a week of up and downs that's for sure. The poor car looks like it needs to be pensioned off. Getting to the stage where repairs are more than its worth. Such a lovely car and so faithful over the past twelve years. Seriously looking at a Fiat 500 now.

On the upside a lovely trip out with Stephanie to Westfield Stratford. Well we thought we'd get our visit in before the bloody Olympics which will result in the place being packed to the gills.
Took the train over, sat sitting there as you do when Stephanie notices we are having our picture taken. I do wish people would realise that when they do things like that or remark to companions it is blatantly obvious what they are up to. Aaaanyway if she had asked we would have posed for her quite willingly.
Herds of schoolkids both on the train and at the centre going for guided tours of the Olympic stadium etc but we go for the most part unnoticed.
I suppose it our collective confidence and certainly my willingness to be engaged in conversation that almost without exception we are greeted by assistants in shops extremely pleasantly.
We troll our way round then take lunch in GBK and again after the initial shock are treated wonderfully. A few of the customers are gobsmacked but once over their shock ignore us.
It is strange that some people look at us in very odd ways, perhaps they think that being a tranny is catching.

Got my lovely wife to cut my hair this week in preparation for a little trip away :-)
At last, I managed to do a proper photo session today, of course most of the planned outfits never materialised but hey that means I can have another session in a few days.
