An additional confidence boost from Saturday's party was to be told I not only had the body of a twenty year old woman but to get several compliments on my legs from the ladies !!
So Stephanie, Sarah and I took ourselves off to the IWM at Duxford. The last time I was there? in 2005 ! A lovely day if a trifle chilly and drafty. I have to say the staff we had contact with were superb. The lady taking the money was not fazed at all and we had a little chat. The security man in the land war section and I had a nice chat and then we met with two of the admin staff as we pased them I heard a reference to my frock and turned to be met with a lovely smile from a young lady who complimented me on my choice. As we spoke about this and that she said I have one like that in red and we both said together... Vivienne of Holloway. It is sooo nice to be treated like this, as though we are no one special.

Well that was an enjoyable party. Off to the wilds of Southgate on Saturday to Max's Mid-Summer (Minus one week) Party, still awaiting pictures). Although we didn't stay to the end seeing as it was supposed to start at 2.00pm Saturday and finish at 5.00 pm Sunday, which it did. Fabulous to catch up with old friends, some surprise guests and making some new ones including the lovely Fredericka, yum and her fabulous fur hat. A trans girl at the party seemed quite shocked when I said I had never been to Doreens over at Walthamstow. An emporium, supposedly for the trans community although from what I've seen and heard its a bit tawdry. Quite the place if you want to look like a tranny or haven't the courage to get your clothes etc from 'proper' shops.
Photo session yesterday. I do like to get these things prepared, get the outfits out rather than scratch around looking for things but somehow there are still things I've got out for the last three shoots that I haven't got around to wearing, probably got something to do with adding new items.

Off out on Thursday with Stephanie and Sarah, a real girlie day out... RAF Duxford. Should be interesting in more ways than one ;-)
