Well that bit of horticulture certainly tired me out. Front garden most respectable now, and then, and then I decided to attack the back garden too. Oooo I must have been mad and got got myself stung by a stinging nettle. I'd only cultivated it for the butterflies, just goes to show, you do something for the environment and what does it do, it bites you.
So do I sally forth today or not? Still undecided. I've cleaned the shoes at least. Silly really, new shoes and what is the first thing I do, go out in the rain, tsk, tsk, tsk, silly girl.
I 'spose if I do go it will have to be Oxford St, its just that if I window shop alone I tend to do it at a gallop. Whatever mode I'm in its always at a gallop, whereas if I am with someone I linger. Ah well as I say we shall see.
Still waiting for goodies in the post. But if they come then, well I'll just have to go and collect them. The lens hood arrived yesterday, cheap nasty plastic thing and horror of horrors doesn't have the word Nikon on it, but if it does the job then that is fine.
I think, I hope that Howards website is not done and dusted, everything lines up and links together seamlessly.

Well.....
Well 2013, how time fly's. 'Tis true, the older you get the quicker it flashes past.
No going out last night, well it's sooo expensive just to do what you would normally do and pay through the nose for the privilege, so we didn't. Did watch the fireworks though, felt a little yawn, seen it, until about half way through and then thought.... bugger I that's good innit. Still better being at home though, better view and not having to stand for hours beforehand. Getting too old for that sort of malarky I can tell you. I do wish they would learn though, close ups of fireworks don't really work, there is a hell of a lot more going on than you can see. True 'tis pretty but.... now long shots from helicopters or ground 'ish level are different, much more effective.
Well I wonder what this year will bring. More outings for sure but what does fate have in store? I'm sure if we knew we would wish we didn't.
I'm sure it happens in all walks of life but reading a friends Blog I notice even when in a minority group people attempt to take over and control. Thinking about it I suppose the smaller the minority the more likely it is to happen as there is less people to rise up against you. I suppose the worst of it is that those who need support retreat into their own world rather than confront this type of person or persons. Call it what you will the cd,tg,ts,tv world is rather small and many do need the support of others. Personally I do not. I go my own way, always have, always will. I've seen it in the fetish world, if you don't do things my way then can't call yourself whatever. Well dearies that is exactly my response, WHATEVER. Stick your opinions and attitudes where the sun doesn't shine. You might think it shines out of there but believe me......... it doesn't. What you all really need to do is get out there in the real world.
I know there are a myriad of places I cannot go because of who I am but I would rather keep my outings to daytime than have to restrict myself to only being in the company of other 'girls' and going to places that are only for 'girls' like us, every time I hear the words Brick Lane my heart sinks. Good grief give me variety.

Walking the walk
Oooo we didn't half walk the other day. Met a friend outside Primarni 'bout 11.30, we strolled through and came out again. Down North Audley Street, popped into Stabucks for a drink then down to Grosvenor Sq then down South Audley Street. Left into Curzon St, right into Half Moon St, across Piccadilly, across Green Park, across the Mall across St James's Park, had a sit down for a chat. Across Birdcage Walk, into Queen Anne's Gate, into Broadway along Victoria St to Parliament Sq, across Westminster Bridge, into Belvedere Rd which runs behind the embankment into Jublilee Gardens onto the Embankment, under Waterloo Bridge and got a sandwich in Eat on the South Bank. Along the South Bank to Tooley St, through Hays Wharf and back on the Embankment to past Tower Bridge, through the wiggly bits to Clink St and stopped at Shad Thames. Stopped for an ice cream and back to Waterloo Bridge, across Waterloo Bridge, along the Strand and up into Covent Garden. Through there to King St and got a drink in Tesco's then into St Martins Lane up to Long Acre and into Charing Cross Rd. Crossed the road into Little Newport St and up to Shaftesbury Avenue, across there into Soho up Frith St and along Old Compton St, crossed Wardour St and along Brewer St then into Sherwood St and across Golden Sq, along Beak St, across and up Regent's St into Conduit St, across Bond St and into Berkeley Sq, surprised Stephanie at work then up the square into Davies St, into Brook St and then Duke St to Oxford St. Into Selfridges for relief, along Oxford St. I left her at Primarni and she went to get her bus home and I popped into Primarni and got two long vests which make ridiculously short size 14 frocks, one yellow and one deep pink at £3 each ! Then I waited ages for a bus and home around 8.15. That's around 9-10 miles that is.
