Day 5

Whoooooohoooo another beach day today. A cloudy start as we breakfast but it then starts to clear to a beautiful day.

My nice black and white frock today with the red swimsuit underneath. We are to meet Andy, Dolenta and her parents at the beach so we grab a cab and away we go. Apparently there are two more beaches within walking distance of the one we visited the other day, both smaller and even less crowded.

After much sunbathing and swimming we repair for a drink and munchies and return for more sun and swimming not to mention nibbling fish again. As the afternoon wears on it begins to cloud over so we pack our collective bags and manage to hail a passing taxi and return to Palma to freshen up for the evening.
Dolenta and Andy suggest a nice restaurant in Palma for our evening repast and a fabulous place it was, the Sadrassana in the Placa Drassanes and we are joined by Dolenta's mother Rosa and Dolenta's childhood friend Lola, not only for the food but for the exhibition they had. Most strange shapes, the nearest thing I can call it would be sculptural knitting.

Of course I must have been spotted but at the restaurant I am visible clocked so I am told. It took them a little while but two gay guys at a nearby table clock me, well in between feeding each other that is. Oh how sweet and romantic is that.
We leave there and go off to a cocktail bar. No ordinary cocktail bar of course oh no, it is an ancient house, huge oak doors and into a massive room, we go through this room into a courtyard. We are led to a table and we order rather expensive cocktails. Stephanie and I elect for some coconut concoction which massively expensive at 16 euros is totally scrummy. Dolenta decides to be our tour guide and takes me, her mother and Lola on a tour of the building which is decorated and furnished in the original style.
