Time slips by and updates get forgotten such a naughty girl. Well I'm always out and about and never get time.
We have our holiday booked for September, off to Mallorca again and the same apartment. This time we have Dolenta and Andy and Mark and Philip our friends from Brighton who we are to see in a couple of weeks.
Have had a disaster on the computer front. The hard drive on my iMac is failing, luckily I have a largeish drive so I managed to partition it and and am booting up from that, thank goodness I back stuff up. Then of all things Madame's computer failed, couldn't find the hard drive but luckily after taking it in to the Apple Shop it was just the wire connecting the drive to the main board and not the drive itself.
The week before last I managed 5 days out of six dressed which was amazing out here there and everywhere even the visits to the Apple Shop were en femme.
On the sixth we were off to the London Alternative Market but a little Billy no mates as our friends were all unable to attend but we had a lovely day and so good to catch up with Mistress Caramel.
It looks like I shall have quite of string of days to myself from Wednesday as Madame is off to her friends on Canvey Island frock making although I might get roped in spending the weekend there.

So Christmas has come and gone and the New Year is here. NYE was spent indoors I don't see why I should pay extra for something I can do any other time just because of a date. So the intervening time between the last update and this? Of course being out and about. The only sales we participated in were madame getting herself a new belt strap and buckle at Elliot Rhodes as she always does and visits to John Lewis and Liberties haberdashery departments. Madame managed to get loads of material at knockdown prices at John Lewis in particular their 150 year celebration fabric at a £1 a metre. Talking of which Liberties managed to do this......
I wonder which sort they were, Electric or Gas?
We took ourselves off to the London Alternative Market last Sunday, all prepared for our usual breakfast in Pret in St Mary Axe we found it shut! Off we trolled and found a new place on the corner of some alleyway and Bishopsgate called The Drift and very nice it was with prices comparable to Pret etc but a much, much wider choice. All sparkly and new it was with painters still painting. The staff were... a little taken aback with the pair of us, even more so when the remaining four of our party turned up.
A little trip out yesterday, a quick flit into Superdrug and Selfridges thence off to the V&A. No matter how many times I go there I always find something I haven't seen before...
Plus of course the odd self-portrait....

In no particular order
So whats-a-bin-happenin'. Saturday night saw us off to The Magic Theatre in deepest darkest sarf Lundun innit. A slightly lower attendance than usual but a good sized crowd. I do wish the DJ was better and knew at least something about sound levels. Nothing sounds good when its so high you get distortion and I suppose they think its the average age of the punters but old cheesy pop is not my thing. The band were good once they had warmed up and yes I did like their style of music. With the odd exception the costumes were below par, it really is amazing how some people think they look good in a mish mash of tat.
Our journey there was, shall we say, fraught. Roadworks and closures made our through London 13 mile journey take two hours and the journey home via a different route, well past midnight, take over an hour as we got caught up in the traffic mahem caused by the Lambeth illegal rave that saw us stationary as seven police riot vans went sailing past. All in all we got to bed about 3.00 a.m.
Sunday was London Alternative Market day, so after three and a half hours sleep I was up and about, just. Suprise of the day, although I didn't know it at the time was two totally delightful maids. One trans and one female. After complimenting them they told me that they had them made and were considering getting more done and selling them but were unsure of their market and pricing. The next day I saw, on Farcebook a picture of the two outfits on mannequins, they had been made by a friend Andy of Stichin' Business, what a coincidence !
Chatting with David, who runs the market he asked if I had been shopping recently which begged me to say, why? Apparently he had people phoning him from America asking why I hadn't been posting about my shopping trips on Farcebook and how only David could know anyone called Ann Drogyny! So not only London fame but international fame!
Oh yes in a previous post I said I'd got new boots.......

Oh my, oh my, oh my
Goodness me nothing since Pride, almost a month how remiss of me. Well I suppose it would be best if I work backwards then I might be able to remember things. Not a lot happened this week, no visit from Stephanie as she was busy with home type things. Thursday saw the lucious Penny and Dave come to dinner, unfortunately Natacha didn't come as she hasn't tried travelling and quite honestly I think she made the right decision. As I said to Dave sitting on the underground in that heat having your makeup slide down your face is not a good look and they had been out and about all day. A nice cool salmon salad starter followed by lamb tagine with fresh fruit and creme fraich was a little off diet but nothing compared to the following day.
A lovely lunch on Wednesday I think it was, with Abigail who I used to work with and Madame and the daughter joined us as it was her birthday the following day. The new comfy sandals, a white with black leaf design frock and the white summery wide brimmed hat and of course the Dior sunglases completed my outfit oh and of course the Lulu Guinness patent handbag.
A nice pub in London Colney, The Colney Fox. Of course the whole thing was soo off diet it wasn't true. Battered Mushrooms, Chicken Breast in a bun with BBQ sauce (a little dry for my taste) and Churros and ice cream with caramel sauce, still it only put on a pound which soon came off again. Lovely chats and gossips but we have both left our common place of work there is no gossip from that direction as we have no contact with anyone from there. Anyway it just happened that there is an outlet centre a coouple of hundred yards down the road and we popped in there on the way home. A nice couple of frocks in New Look suprisingly enough, in their sale, so that was two summery frocks for £25.
The week before Stephanie and I decided to take a walk, oh dear that turned into a bit of a hike, all 4.5 miles of it. Beatiful sunshine we met up at Baker Street Station and walked up to Regent's Park, through the park to the Inner Circle and I found the park within a park that I'd lost ages ago. After a few photo's in there it was back into the park and down the Broadwalk to the Marylebone Road taking a cycling accident along the way. One cyclist turning right without indicating and the other trying to overtake her. Well he gave her a nice lecture. Across the Marylebone Road into Park Crescent and down Portland Place, Langham Place and into Regent's Street turned left into Great Castle Street and right into Great Portland Street into Oxford Street. We strolled along Oxford Street and turned right into Poland Street, partook of lunch there and carried on down to Great Marlborough Street where we turned right and onto Carnaby Street, down there into Kingley Court which has become almost exclusively eateries and back out again and turned left into Beak Street and right into Upper James St to Golden Square, across the square and left into Brewer Street, across Wardour Sreet and into Old Compton Street then right into Charing Cross Road. We strolled down until we got to Cranboune St and into Leicester Square, had a little sit down then a diagonal walk across the square into Swiss Court and into Coventry St to Picadilly Circus and up Regent Street for a walk around Hamley's as Stephanie was after looking at something. We left there and continued up Regent Street to Hanover St, into Hanover Square then Harewood St into Oxford Street and thence the bus home. Phew 4.5 miles and all this in a new pair of sandals by Gabor for the first time of wearing. Quite the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought.
The previous week was the London Fetish Fair. A lovely hot day made all the worse by some sporting event which extended our journey by an hour ! A rather nice What Katie Did black and white spotted basque and matching thong and clear silly shoes and that was it basically which went down rather well :-)

I did rather pig-out for lunch opting for a baguette with fried egg, three rashers of bacon and a sausgage !. Had lovely chats with Master Keith and Joy. Wished the lovely D a happy birthday and a nice catch up with Jed Pheonix. The previous week was the London Alternative Market which we didn't go to as we were sans Penny and Natacha and Russell, shame but money saved.
The other week Madame and I dropped off two latex skirts at House of Harlot, to be altered, too big on the hips. This Saturday we went off to collect them. Luckily we are the same size so the skirts fit us both. We take breakfast in Baker Street and have a wander in Selfridges and make our way over to Harlot via Spitalfields Market and a quick chat with Lulu with her hats. Leaving Harlot madame says she requires lunch so we partake of an Indian in Brick Lane.

Weekend
So a weekend of exhausting fun. Saturday night was Rubber Cult another fabulous night, the best so far. Madame and I in our new outfits were snapped quite a few times...

Fabulous to meet up with Ed and Gwen over from Ireland, we haven't seen them in about 6 years so much catching up including the news they have a two year old son! A long chat with Zac about health and photography, well what else do you chat about at a fetish club :-) We see Madame Caramel and Fetish Lisa, PFK and Mistress Hannah and many more. A nice hour or so in the changing room with Dolenta and her models Ana Mantis, Chris, Andy, Mamzelle Maz, Nico, Ilua, and Joyce plus caberet star Marnie Scarlet and Max and I got a kiss from Eva Vortex!
Sunday sees us off all rubbered up to the London Alternative Market, a little drained after getting to bed around 3 am we are off at 10.30 to Revolution in America Square by Tower Bridge. Much compliments, well we do put in the effort even for daytime events.... A nice cuddle with Mistress Absolute rounds off my day nicely.

Oxford Street this morning. Madame to Louis Vittone to give them the ok to repair her handbag and me off to Primark, talk about opposite ends of the scale! I'm after another hat and manage to get a white one the same style as the black one. On my return to Selfridges I find her having a make over at Tom Ford. The lovely young man, after showing madame eyeliner says he is bored with nothing to do and would madame like a complete make over so I go off on a wander. Up to the top floor and Primarni where I get a pair of skimpy white denim shorts for £5, bargain.
Madame is after a small Longchamp makeup bag. We try Debenhams nothing, we try House of Fraser where I'm severely tempted by a Lulu Guinness bag. We leave and wander down to the Longchamp shop in Regent Street where she gets what she is after.
We get home in time for lunch. I try on the shorts, oh dear they don't fit. I bought a size 12 thinking well its Primark they are bound to come up a bit small. Oh no it seems I need a size 10. Yes read that weep my dears a size 10 !

Exhausting
My goodness this retirement malarky is exhausting !! Off out Friday night to our friend Marnie Scarlet's 40th birthday party at the Resistance Gallery and get to bed gone 2.00am. Fabulous to catch up with people we hadn't seen in more than ages.
Saturday is a foray into the deepest darkest recesses of South London to The Magic Theatre at the wonderfully kitch Rivoli Ballroom. We leave there gone midnight which of course coincides with the clocks changing so is now 1.00 am. I drop madame off in Camden Town at what is now 2.00 am to meet up with our daughter and they disappear into the Black Cap and get in at around 6.00 am.
Sunday sees us off out again for a mothers day lunch at the Black Cap and their "Dragged up by your mother" event. madame, daughter and I get a free makeup session and eventually get in around 7.00.
Off out again with Stephanie and Sara today, a visit to the British Museum and a wander. Nothing more for a few days, thank goodness, just a trip to the Tower of London on Friday with Claire and Conrad. Well it will only be the second time I have ever been there. Then its off out again on Sunday, its the London Alternative Market.

Rest of the week
Tuesday sees madame and I Oxford Street bound. A quick visit to Primarni for some xmas presents and I pick up a pair of very tight black shiny trousers and a visit to Superdrug for some makeup for me then onto Pret for a lateish breakfast. We then wander M&S seeking ideas for xmas presents for madame to no avail. A usual trawl of Selfridges returns the same result. Things are either too expensive or are totally wrong. Ah well I do have a short list of things.
A midweek trawl of Brent Cross turns up nothing but its a few hours out and about.
Its the LAM tomorrow and we will get to meet up with the delicious Penny and Natacha, hopefully Sarah and Russell will be there too. To be able to get two more days dressed results in picture taking this morning.....
